Self-Defence
Self-Defence is an important part of karate, and with regulart practice, you can gain the karate skills needed to handle any situation. Though our training, you will develop a better understanding of practical karate self-defence techniques as well as gain a greater sense of security.
Self-Confidence
Our Karate classes for Teens & Adults not on;y provide the skills to defend yourself, but also boost your confidence and self-esteem in other areas of your life like school, college, or work. As you become more familiar with your own karate techniques over a course of time, it will be reflected in a greater sense of security and assurance.
Fitness
Our karate classes are an excellent way of improving your physical fitness, as our exercises and karate drills are specifically designed for Teens and Adults in mind. Regular practice can help you build muscle strength, and endurance as well as increasing your agility, flexibility and balance.

Shotokan JKA Academy karate classes are suitable for everyone and all levels from special novices to Black Belts, so you don't need any previous karate experience to join us. We provide instruction in a step by step format in a comfortable atmosphere where you can progress at your own personal levels.
